Rapper, songwriter, and performance artist NOTYOURDAD brings feel-good vibes and catchy lyrics to listeners all over the world with his music. Whether putting out hard-hitting rap essentials with thudding 808’s and a punk rock attitude to somber, emotional tracks that one might liken to bedroom pop, NOTYOURDAD is an experimental artist like no other. He often combines elements of several genres across his discography, such as trap, punk, funk, pop, indie, hip-hop, R&B, and so much more into his music, continually building upon his past works with future experimentation.

Born Thayer Jerid Danniel Cranor in the city of Round Rock, TX, NOTYOURDAD made his introduction into the musical world with the release of his debut album, Gutter Pimps & Hood Bitches, having worked closely alongside the enigmatic producer D-Juicy. Having recorded all eight tracks out of the Casa De Rosas Studio in San Marcos, TX, the album’s release on July 18th, 2022 made NOTYOURDAD the talk of the town as the newest artist on the block, immediately iconic both in his sound and his appearance, rocking the round shades and majestic mullet.

NOTYOURDAD would go on to claim victory for best performance at the 100 Grand Artist Showcase at Soho Lounge in Austin, TX on October 22nd, 2023, for his performance of the song “Thots & Prayers.” This would further propel him to greater notoriety throughout the Austin, TX music scene, as well as throughout the greater Central Texas area.
